Susan S. Lukesh

Susan S. Lukesh, Ph.D., MLS, studied Classical Archaeology and Art at Brown University and subsequently excavated prehistoric sites in Southern Italy and Sicily. She recently returned from over 2 ½ years working in the mid-East Gulf State of Qatar where, among other things, she produced a blog on her daily life and travels. Since she returned, her research has transitioned from the excavation and study of prehistoric settlements to genealogical research and the study of personal and local histories, histories that both inform and enliven histories with broader reach. Direct access to some of her publications, including those on prehistoric sites and scholarly communication, can be found on her website.
