The J. P. Morgan Building, New York, NY, ca. 1905

In the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries, J. P. Morgan and Co. was housed in this six-story Italianate structure (known as the Drexel Building) at Broad and Wall Streets. In 1913, the Drexel Building was demolished and a new J. P. Morgan office building was built on the same site. Photograph by the Detroit Publishing Company.
