Faust, Tony portrait, n.d

Portrait of Tony Faust, n.d. Faust was a restaurateur and mutual friend of Eberhard Anheuser and Adolphus Busch. He included advertisements for Anheuser-Busch beer in his restaurant advertisements during the 1870s. This was unusual since the company rarely advertised its products in newspapers until several years after Anheuser’s 1880 death.
