As the leader of the second generation of Koehler family brewers, Oscar C. Koehler built upon the achievements of his father and uncles to increase his family’s wealth and prestige. He helped make the Koehler name well known within a portion of the Midwest that extended from St. Louis, Missouri, to Davenport, Iowa.
