Hellman, Marco Portrait, n.d.

Isaias W. Hellman Jr. (nicknamed Marco) was the only son of Isaias and Esther Hellman. After graduating from the University of California, Marco became involved in the family business. Like his father, Marco served as director, or in other executive capacities, in numerous California banks. After Isaias W. Hellman Sr. died in April 1920, Marco succeeded him as president of Wells Fargo National Bank. Unfortunately, his tenure did not last long. Only a month later, Marco died at age forty-nine after a series of heart attacks.
