Germania Brewery in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Photograph of the Germania Brewery in Allentown, Pennsylvania. German immigrant Benedict Nuding founded the firm in 1878, and Lewis F. Neuweiler later joined the brewery. It became known as the Nuding-Neuweiler Brewery. Neuweiler bought out Nuding in 1900 and expanded the facility prior to Prohibition. It survived Prohibition and remained in business until 1967.
