Festivities at Cone Mills, ca. 1925

In addition to building on-site recreational facilities for his employees and their families, Moses Cone organized numerous festivities and social activities at the Cone mills campus. The image on top shows the children of Cone workers performing so called Greek-style dancing (which was popular in the early twentieth century); the middle image features a Maypole dance; and the bottom image shows a Halloween celebration.
