Craftsman Farms

Contemporary Photograph of Craftsman Farms

In 1908, Stickley acquired 650 acres in Parsippany, New Jersey, where he planned to run a utopian farm and school community to be called Craftsman Farms. While the school never came to fruition, Stickley did build a log cabin home and country estate on the site, where he and his family lived from 1911 to 1915. Today, the estate serves as the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms.
