Busch Place

Undated photograph of Busch Place. The image shows the gated entrance, as well as the drive and walkways leading to the two homes in the background. The three-story house on the left is Number One Busch Place, the home of Adolphus Busch. The three-story house on the right, which is set further back and partially obscured by a tree, is Number Two Busch Place, the home of Adolphus’ son August A. Busch, Sr. It was here that he raised his son, August A. (Gussie) Busch, Jr., who served as the company chairman of Anheuser-Busch from 1946 to 1975.
