Three-quarter-length portrait of Adolphus Busch, 1890s. Busch holds a pair of pince-nez; his Anheuser-Busch eagle watch fob is suspended from a buttonhole. Eager to impress others with his wealth and status, Busch wore the finest European crafted and tailored clothing.
