USAir Corporate Image Redesign by Landor & Associates

When the Federal government deregulated the U.S. airline industry in the 1980s, Walter Landor suggested changing the name of Allegheny Airlines to USAir.  The new corporate image of the airline boosted company morale with the name change as USAir repainted all of their aircraft with Landor’s strong and bold graphics to draw attention to the new name.
