Berliner Acoustic Tile

A close-up view of the Berliner device designed to remove acoustic defects from an auditorium. Hollow spaces beneath the wall surface are provided by the wire mesh cells which are the circular objects in the illustration. These are covered with a specially prepared cement showing in the dark triangle in the upper right. The device then may be covered with any wall surfacing.
