Notice about Mallinckrodt Brand Morphine (1900)

Around 1898, the Mallinckrodt Company, perhaps drawing on its German connections, purchased access to cocaine and morphine manufacturing processes developed by external innovators. The notice, which appeared in the Proceedings of the Michigan Pharmaceutical Association (1900), stressed the quality and purity of Mallinckrodt morphine, which was apparently available in flake and cube form.
