Carole Cosgrove Terry

Carole Cosgrove Terry, Ph.D., received her degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2012, studying the history of Germans in the West. Her dissertation was Die Deutschen in Kalifornien:  Germans in Urban California, 1850-1860, and she also contributed a chapter, “Germans,” in Jerry Simich and Thomas Wright’s More Peoples in Las Vegas. In addition, she edited and contributed to two publications of the Junior League of Las Vegas, The Morelli House and The Sands and the Copa Room as wells as articles in the Nevada Historical Society Quarterly and One, the Nevada Humanities’ Online Nevada Encyclopedia.
