Silvia Rode

Silvia Anna Rode is associate professor of German and chair of the World Languages and Cultures at the University of Southern Indiana. During her career, Rode held teaching assignments at Vanderbilt University, the University of Regensburg in Germany, and Central College in Iowa. Her research includes utopian concepts between World War I and World War II, theories on urbanism, and nineteenth-century communal societies.
