Scott Paul Gordon

Scott Paul Gordon, professor of English at Lehigh University, has written two books, The Power of the Passive Self in English Literature, 1640–1770 (Cambridge University Press, 2002) and The Practice of Quixotism: Postmodern Theory and Eighteenth-Century Women’s Writing (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006), and he has published numerous articles on religion, class, and patriotism in early America.
